Christopher graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Business Administration. After more than fifteen years working in business management and customer service, he felt called to education and made the transition into the classroom, bringing real-world experience to share with his students.
He began teaching Exceptional Education while completing his endorsement through Old Dominion University. Over the next 14 years, Christopher focused on helping every student succeed and worked to ensure all learners had access to meaningful opportunities.
His love for working with students and teachers led him to pursue a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Supervision at Averett University. He went on to serve as a Middle School Assistant Principal and Interim Principal, where he was especially proud to help lead Dogwood Middle School to earn state accreditation for the first time in seven years.
Today, Christopher serves as Assistant Principal at the Richmond Technical Center. He is excited to continue supporting students as they prepare for future success in their chosen careers and technical fields.
Christopher has two grown children and a wife whom he adores more than life itself. He loves to listen to live music, all things college football, and to hang out with his three dogs.
