Virginia's CTE Resource Center

The CTE Resource Center supports career and technical education programs by providing resources for curriculum development and program design and implementation in response to the Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act (Perkins V).

For Parents & Students:  Learn about career and technical education courses, certifications, and licenses offered in Virginia's public schools.

Information about Career Clusters:  Career clusters help to organize Virginia's career and technical education programs and curricula, and are helpful for creating student plans of study. There are 17 clusters, representing 83 career pathways. The framework also functions as a useful guide in developing programs of study bridging secondary and postsecondary systems.
